His Royal Highness, the Duke of Gloucester, visited Brighton yesterday (19th November) to meet members of the Chattri Memorial Committee and view the Indian Gate and the World War 1 Exhibition at the Royal Pavilion. Davinder Dhillon, the Chairman of the Chattri Memorial Group co-hosted the visit with the Lord Lieutenant. Local volunteers, including Bankim Chandra & Balbir Gohler from SIPS and Chandrakant Mehta from GCS, can be seen in the photographs below. Later the Duke opened a new extension at St Peter and St James Hospice in Chailey and then visited the Pestalozzi Project for young people in Seddlescombe.
